Part collage, part experimental writing, “There is a Dangerous Dynamic in the Night” couples personal episodic anecdotes with images and appropriated texts from various sources including police PR, police mottos, and images from Ferguson, Occupy, and images generally associated with blacklivesmatter. The title refers to a quote from Ron Johnson (Captain of the Missouri State Hwy Patrol) who oversaw the police response in Ferguson during the 2014 uprising.
